We built Omahji because we knew there had to be a better way.
Why we built this
Omahji started from watching an instructor manage her growing Mahjong community. She was spending almost as much time on admin work as she was at the table — updating spreadsheets after every game, chasing down payments, answering the same questions about upcoming sessions, manually tracking who sat where and with whom.
She loved teaching Mahjong. She didn't love being a part-time data entry clerk.
So we asked: what if there was a platform designed specifically for how Mahjong instructors actually work? Not a generic scheduling tool. Not a repurposed fitness studio app. Something built from the ground up for the unique needs of running Mahjong games, classes, and events.
